This weekend marks a big two-day stretch for Mazer Gaming, Antimatter Gaming, GO Stadium and Pokémon GO in Seattle that you do not want to miss!
To kick off the weekend on 4/23 - join our very own Melgood711, Twastell and Alfindeol at Seattle Center for the Community Day: Stufful - Seattle Meetup brought to you by GO Stadium!
Beginning at 1pm PDT at the International Fountain will be a set of battles, called the Battle Royale, against top battlers for the chance to win some epic prizes, as well as an opportunity to snag a group photo with all the trainers at the meet-up. The style of the battle will be an Elite Four challenge - where by defeating the Elite Four, you get the chance to battle the Champion for a prize!
From there, the group will participate from 2-5pm in Community Day and conclude the day at the Armory at Seattle Center with Part 2 of the Battle Royale and time to meet other Community members, trade and a chance to win more prizes!
Don’t forget! If you attend, ask the crew for a Silph Road check-in for a special Community Day badge. Mel is celebrating her birthday with the GO Community, so be sure to wish her a happy birthday for a special surprise. Be sure to grab a Bear-GO card (our version of Bingo!) when you arrive, catch the Pokémon corresponding to the spaces, fill out the card throughout the day to have a shot at those prizes after Community Day finishes!
If Stufful Community Day didn’t wear you out, on 4/24, join us at the Nexus League Seattle Open Great League Tournament - brought to you by Antimatter Gaming and Mazer Gaming! This double elimination style tournament boasts a minimum $300 prize pool and will be sure to be excellent practice in preparation for Play Pokémon Championships.
There will be a $15 door fee and the event will be held at Gamers Heaven Seattle North, 5116 196th St. SW Suite 203 Lynwood, WA 98036. For more information, please visit nlseattle.antimatter.gg or Gamers Heaven at the link here.
This event will also be live streamed by Go Stadium on their Twitch channel - twitch.tv/gostadium - so if you can’t make it out to the event in person, be sure to catch the stream for a live look at all the action!
We hope that if you’re in the Seattle area, you’ll come out and participate in one or both events, we’d love to meet you! See you there!
